Member, Andrea Triggs
Andrea Triggs is currently the Director of Mental Health across the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network and has more than 20 years’ experience in the primary health care sector.   She previously worked for the Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network, Country & Outback Health and the Country North SA Medicare Local.  Prior to this she worked in a variety of roles at the Flinders and Far North Division of General Practice.
Andrea is passionate about providing high quality services to people who live in rural and remote South Australia and has a firm commitment to providing country people with excellent services, from within country, and where possible by country people.  She appreciates the challenges of providing high quality services across vast areas like Eyre peninsula and remote northern South Australia with associated funding limitations.
The majority of Andrea’s professional experience has been establishing mental health services that support primary care.  This has always been supported with the development and maintenance of robust relationships with the tertiary sector, public funded health services, Aboriginal Community Controlled services, and the broader not for profit sector across country South Australia.
