Volunteers play a vital role in Outback SA. Without the help of volunteers many communities would struggle to survive. Even if you have only a little spare time, consider rolling up your sleeves and pitching in. You and your community will be better off.

Screening Checks for Volunteers

From 1 November 2018, all Department of Human Services (DHS) screenings for volunteers, including volunteering with children and vulnearable people will be free.

Farina Restoration Project

Farina is located within the Lake Eyre Basin, on the old alignment of the Ghan railway, 26 km north of Lyndhurst and 55 km south of Marree along the Oodnadatta Track in South Australia.
